Custom Edited Program and Archival or Straight Transfer Program
The transfer and editing of the following formats of film - 8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm
The transfer and editing of the following formats of film to Reference AVI files - 8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm
The transfer and editing of the following formats of video - VHS, Hi-C, 8mm, Hi-8, Digitial 8, Mini DV, Mini DVD
The transfer and editing of the following formats of images - photos, slides, and jpeg files, memorabilia that can be scanned
The transfer and editing of the following formats of audio - tape cassettes, reel to reel tapes, vinyl records ( 33 and 45 only).. Note reel to reel audio tapes can only be transferred in their entirety. The other formats can be transferred by specific track.
The editing of music soundtrack, audio cassettes, voice over recording are all options in the Custom Edited Program.
All film and video material is transferred to DVD-R.
All photos and slides are transferred to either DVD-R, or as jpeg files onto CD, or both as requested.
All audio cassette or vinyl transfers are to wave files onto CD.
Duplicate copies of DVD’s or CD ‘s are available.
The Archival or Straight Transfer pricing is applicable to both programs.
An hourly editing rate is applied to the base pricing for all components of the Custom Edited Program.

From start to completion turnaround time - From the time all material is at Vintage Family Tree Video, the standard turnaround time is as follows:
A photo or slide only project is 2 - 3 weeks
A straight transfer of film only project is 2 -3 weeks
A custom edited project that includes film, video, or any combination of editing services or review sessions required is 4 - 6 weeks.
Quick or rush job projects turnaround time can be accomplished on a case by case basis.
In-Home or In-Studio appointments can be scheduled.
Free Pickup and Delivery are available by appointment in the following geographic areas:
All of Connecticut, New York Metro area including all five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess Counties.
A $50 per pickup and per delivery charge will be applied to all In-Home appointments in the following geographic areas: Northern and Central New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island.
All other states should use UPS or Fed Ex as primary means of shipping material back and forth.
